We are part of the lifeblood of Boulder County.
Just fifty small homes in all, we are diverse and devoted members of the community.
Our Mission: Tell everyone how much we love our community and our homes.
Established in 1963, the residents of this community enjoyed a quiet life outside of Boulder, Colorado, paying our lot fees monthly to a Mom-and-Pop style ownership. We were treated fairly. We thought that we had chosen a responsible way to live within our means. Rent increases were in line with cost-of-living increases elsewhere in the country. All of that changed in 2016 when our park was sold to a professional investment company.
Our rents have been skyrocketing ever since and we are now in danger of losing our homes. That is why we partnered with Thistle to try to become a RESIDENT OWNED COMMUNITY like so many other manufactured home parks have done in the last 10 years (275 and counting!), and which our close neighbors at Sans Souci just accomplished.
With that goal in mind, we formed the Table Mesa Villagers Cooperative and are now actively engaged in trying to buy our park.
While we work toward that goal, it is important to many of us to remind the world of why we moved here in the first place. We want everyone to know what we love about our manufactured home park.
What We've Achieved
Established a cooperative of resident owners in the park with legal status to purchase the park as an entity.
Entered into partnership with Resident Owned Communities USA and Thistle - Affordable Housing in Boulder.
Advocated for the passage of laws protecting Mobile Home Park Residents in Colorado.
